Discovery axes Brew Masters — No Reservations for Brew Masters’ next season

The craft beer Twitterverse is going positively apeshit over reports that Anthony Bourdain, host of the Travel Channel’s popular No Reservations program, tweeted yesterday that “big beer” threatened to pull their commercials from the Discovery Channel if Brew Masters was left on the air. Bourdain’s No Reservations and Dogfish Head’s Brew Masters share the same production company which gives the report gravitas.

Update: On the plus side, Brew Masters can still be found at the  iTunes store for $1.99 per episode. Get ’em before they’re pulled.
